Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They serve to remember your preferences, improve the user experience and provide traffic analytics.
2. Which cookies we use
On trenerdesk.com we use the following types of cookies:
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the basic functioning of the site. Without them the site would not work correctly. They do not require your consent — we process them based on our legitimate interest in operating the website.
- td.theme — stores the selected color theme (dark/light). Validity: unlimited (localStorage).
- NEXT_LOCALE — stores the selected site language. Validity: 1 year.
- td.consent — stores your cookie decision so we do not ask on every visit. Validity: 6 months.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They only run after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.) — measure traffic and loading speed. They store no cookies on your device; the data is aggregated and anonymized.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) — cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> to distinguish visitors and sessions. Validity: 2 years. IP addresses are anonymized.
Marketing cookies
These would be used to measure advertising performance and for targeting. We currently run no marketing tool on the site — the category is offered so you can set your preference in advance. If we deploy such a tool, it will only run with your consent and we will update this policy.
3. Transfers outside the EU
Google Analytics is operated by Google Ireland Limited, which may also process data in the USA. The transfer is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We use Google Consent Mode v2 — until we have your consent, the script runs in storage-less mode: it writes no cookies or identifiers to your device and sends Google only anonymous, non-identifying page-load data.
4. Withdrawing or changing consent
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time — as easily as you gave it. Use the “Cookie settings” button on this page or in the site footer. Once consent is withdrawn we stop measurement immediately and delete the relevant cookies.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. If you make no choice, nothing beyond the essential cookies is loaded.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also manage or refuse cookies in your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect the functionality of the site.
Guides for managing cookies in the most used browsers:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will inform you of significant changes through a notice on the site and, where necessary, ask for your consent again.
